Humpback Whales June 2010
A beautiful, still winter's morning in Fisherman's Bay
We set out on the boat early, about 6 am, to look for some humpbacks. They pass Sydney as they migrate north each winter and we were in luck!
Hard to capture, but you can just see 2 whales spouting...
...and a tail (below). They actually came really close to us.
And then the motor died...
